Can I use a moisturizing cream for my combination skin?

Or would a moisturizing lotion be better? Because I have a very oily T-zone, but my cheeks are extremely dry and are also flaky. Should I just buy the cream and only put it on my cheeks and leave my T-zone alone?|||YES! I have sensitive/combination skin... Which gets inflammed if I use anything HARSH on my cheeks.. but, my t-zone is oily.. I%26#039;m probably older than you but after 10-15 yrs. I%26#039;ve perfected my beauty regimen and now in my 30%26#039;s I have really amazing looking skin... I use dermatologist recommended CETAPHIL cleanser for sensitive skin.. It%26#039;s inexpensive and really works.. *However, I do use baby oil to remove my waterproof mascara/eyeliner... You can use it with or without water...

They also have a facial cream as well... I also 1x a week mix baking soda with my cleaner and use it to exfoliate my skin... It%26#039;s cheap and easy to do.... On my t-zone I use a WITCH HAZEL astrigent. Which can be found in the peroxide, rubbing alcohol and epsom salt aisle in most food/drug stores... Commerical toners have too much alcohol for my sensitive skin.. MURAD sells a toner that the first ingredient is WATER then WITCH HAZEL and it%26#039;s almost $30 for a small bottle..!

I%26#039;m older and I%26quot;ve switched from an acne moisturizer to an anti-aging moisturizer however, believe it or not I use a PAUL MITCHELL MENS LINE product on my face. It%26#039;s actually marketed as a leave-in hair conditioner/body lotion but, in the summer it works really GREAT at keeping my sensitive/combination skin moist/supply without a greasy residue! I got a really BAD sunburn on my face in LAS VEGAS and the man himself (PAUL MITCHELL) applied it to my skin.. It%26#039;s cool, creamy and is absorbed almost instantly.... It also didn%26#039;t burn my sensitive sunburned skin! The TEA TREE oil controls acne while still moisturzing... My husband uses it as an after shave balm as it has cooling menthol in it...It also works as a leave in hair conditioner! It costs about $10-$12 for a bottle but, I%26#039;ve had mine for almost a yr. ! TRULY an amazing product.. I%26#039;m buying my husband his own for father%26#039;s day....|||There are lotions that are specifically designed for combination skin which cures dry, flaky skin without making the other parts of your face greasy. You can also try using a night cream which will help sooth your dry skin, and nourish your face in general. Choose something oil-free so you can hydrate your skin without worrying about making your T-zone too greasy.
