I have been using Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream and I love it. I wonder if I can use suncream with it and how I can use them together.
Thanks,
Mager|||The above answer is NOT true! You always, always, always apply sunscreen LAST, after everything else. This does two things. First, it keeps the ingredients in the sunscreen from being overly compromised by the application of the lotion, and second, it is very important for the sunscreen to glide over the surface of the skin evenly for good coverage, which will not happen if you apply it before your moisturizer. Sunscreen needs to be %26quot;the first line of defense%26quot; for your skin, which means it must be %26quot;outside%26quot; all other products (except, obviously, makeup).
If it is a self-tanner you are using with the Cetaphil, again, apply it AFTER the lotion. Otherwise, the application of the lotion will streak the self-tanner.
Good luck!|||I don%26#039;t know what suncream is - is it to promote tanning, prevent tanning, or is it a self-tanner?
Cetaphil is a general, all purpose moisturizer. If you are using a sun screen or sun block, you should use it under the Cetaphil. Same thing for the self-tanner, or it won%26#039;t adhere well to the skin.
If you are talking about using a tanning lotion to get a tan, then honestly...I%26#039;d have to recommend NOT using it - tanning damages the skin, especially if you use an accelerator.
