How do I perform a science experiment with moisturizing creams?

I am in 8th grade and i%26#039;m doing a state science fair thing. i want to test which moisturizing cream retains the most moisture, but i don%26#039;t know how and my science teacher is no help! i need an idea soon!|||Take two saltine crackers.

Place one in a clear glass bowl with 1/4 cup of baby oil aka mineral oil found in plenty of cheap creams.

In another bowl place the cracker in 1/4 cup of water

see how it absorbs the water.

The oil cracker is hard and that is what cheap creams containing petroleum (Distilled) aka baby oil does to our skin.

Stink to pure/natural water based creams.

People should be amazed at how %26#039;bad%26#039; mineral oil or %26#039;vaseline%26#039; is.

If you get an A let me know.|||Take a bunch of people with dry skin and give them a different moisturizer each.|||im not sure ask a more sciencetific person
