HAVE you ever caught an ALLERGIC REACTION to moisturizing cream?

i was using PONDS dry skin cream then like 2days later i got a rash on my face, right now im not using it and ive been using this E45 cream on my face for the rash.

my face has got all these small and tiny red itchy bumps on my face, would this go away??? have you ever had this problem???|||Yeah I get this all the time from moisturisers...makeup...face washes. If you%26#039;ve already worked out what was causing it then that%26#039;s good, just stop using it. Sometimes using something new can trigger an allergy to a different product even if you%26#039;ve used it for years (I used a new face scrub and then suddenly became allergic to some foundation I%26#039;d used for years) 1% hydrocortisone will help but only use it for a day or two. It might start to get all dry and flaky as the tiny blisters go away so make sure to keep it moisturised. If it doesn%26#039;t get better in a couple of days it might be a reaction to something else you%26#039;re using.

ETA I just noticed someone else said they can%26#039;t use E45, I%26#039;m allergic to it too so make sure it%26#039;s ok for you. Aveeno moisturisers are good and have never caused me a problem.|||You don%26#039;t catch an allergic reaction you just have one. E45 will not help your problem and since it contains lanolin, which is a potent sensitiser, it may be making things worse. Stop using it,perhaps a tiny amount of 1/2% hydrocorisone applied sparingly 3 times a day might help, it is so mild it can be used safely even on the face, wash with water only and perhaps try an oral antihistamine.|||You probably have eczema on your face - I was waxing my legs then got an allergic reaction to it, and it turned out to be eczema, even though I%26#039;d never had it before.

You should see a doctor, and really avoid itching your face otherwise it%26#039;ll get infected and leave scars - always wash your face now but be gentle, and continue to use E45 cream 2 times a day, then see your doctor. =]|||Yup - I am allergic to E45 (amongst others). I think the lanolin in the moisturiser causes me to come out in a rash. Don%26#039;t get this with other moisturisers.

The skin on your face is very sensitive - maybe use a face only cream|||Yes I have had this problem. Use Cetaphil. It%26#039;s for all skin types, dry and moist. It%26#039;s also dermatologist recommended, so it won%26#039;t react to sensitive skin|||Yes

Buy yourself some Aquas Cream from Boots.

拢3 for a big jar.

No perfumes added which means no allergy|||yea i get that
