What's the difference between hydrating and moisturizing creams?
Well I%26#039;m not sure if they%26#039;re the same thing or if one contains oils. Oh, and if you do know the answer, which one is better for your skin?|||In Esthetics, something that hydrates adds water to your skin. Skin lacking water is dehydrated, not dry. Skin lacking oil is dry. Something that moisturizes adds oil. It depends on your skin type. All skin types need both oil and water. Generally oily skin would want something with a higher water content and dry skin needs more oil. Some types of oils are good for all kinds of skin, like jojoba or lavender.
